About Me: Earthquake Engineer, Entrepreneur and Technology Expert in Istanbul

Hello, I’m Kaya Kafar. I’ve grown up on different paths, facing different challenges and opportunities throughout my life. This journey, where civil engineering, entrepreneurship, and technology intersect, has matured me both professionally and personally. Living in Sarıyer has allowed me to better understand the spirit and people of this place. It has helped me add a more intimate touch to my projects.

Who am I?

I see myself as a storyteller rather than a profession. Whether I’m designing structures or developing a business model for construction projects, I always feel like I’m building something. Sometimes I’m building a building. Sometimes I’m making a small but meaningful difference in people’s lives.

What Am I Doing?

Construction and Design:

I love finding solutions to complex issues like reinforced concrete structures and earthquake engineering. Because it’s not just a technical job; it’s about building safe spaces for people to live in.

Entrepreneurship and Technology:

Designing business models always inspires me. Integrating technology into business processes is the same way. Working in innovative areas like artificial intelligence is especially inspiring.

Project Management:

I participate in projects in and around Sarıyer as both a leader and a teammate. I believe in the power of achieving things together with people.

What Motivates Me?

Throughout my life, I’ve always sought ways to do things better. I don’t see success as simply accomplishing great things. Gaining people’s trust, helping them, and learning from them is true success for me. That’s why every project is an opportunity for me; not just to work, but to grow and inspire others.

My dream?

One day, when I look back, I want to see not just successful projects. I want a career that leaves a mark. I also wish for beautiful memories in people’s lives. Building an international brand, creating projects that touch people, and constantly learning are all part of my dreams.
